24 Hour White Salad

Ingredients
1 can Royal Anne cherries
1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
1 lb. miniature marshmallows
1 pint whipping cream
3 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 cup light cream
juice of one lemon
1-1/2 tsp. salt

Directions
Blend fruit and marshmallows and set aside. Blend egg yolks, light cream, lemon juice and salt. Cook over a low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool. Fold into whipped cream and stir in fruit and marshmallows.

Chill covered for at least 24 hours. Serves 18.
