6 Layer Dip

Ingredients
1 16-oz. can refried beans
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 large avocados
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
4 slices bacon
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped ripe olives
1 cup diced tomato
1 4-oz. can chopped green chilies
1 cup finely shredded cheese, cheddar and jack cheese mixture

Directions
Fry bacon until very crisp then crumble. Combine beans and chili powder, mixing well. Peel and mash avocados, then combine with mayonnaise, bacon, onion and salt. Mix well.

Layering: Spread the bean mixture in the bottom of a large shallow clear glass bowl. Top with a layer of the avocado mixture, then spread the olives evenly on top of the avocado mixture. Finish with a layer each of diced tomato, chopped chilies and a final layer of shredded cheese. Makes 6 cups.
