Butternut Balls
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 cups nuts, finely chopped
powdered sugar for coating
Directions
Cream butter and sugar together. Stir in flour and salt, then add nuts and mix well. Form into 1-inch round balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool on a rack. Yield: 5-6 dozen cookies.
