Cherry Cheesecake Pie
Ingredients
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 can (1 lb. 6 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
Directions
Beat together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour this mixture into the pastry shell.
Add the almond extract to the cherry pie filling. Carefully spoon over the cheese layer. Chill until set.
