Cherry Creme Pie
Ingredients
1 baked 9 inch pie shell
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 can (1 lb. 6 oz.) prepared cherry pie filling
Directions
Beat the cream cheese until light. Add the sugar and vanilla. Blend well. Fold in the whipped cream. Turn into the baked pie shell and chill for 1 hour. Spread the cherry pie filling over the cream filling. Chill for several hours. Garnish with whipped cream before serving.
