Cherry Nut Mince Pie
Ingredients
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) red sour pitted cherries, drained
2 cups canned mincemeat
2/3 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 recipe plain pastry for a double crust pie
Directions
Combine the cherries, mincemeat, marmalade, sugar, flour and walnuts. Pour into a 9-inch pastry lined pie pan. Add the top crust.
Bake at 425 degrees F. for 25 minutes. Serve warm or chilled. Yield is one 9-inch pie.
