Chocolate Crackles

Ingredients
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup golden brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup salad oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions
Melt chocolate. Combine with sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts. Chill dough. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar and roll to completely coat. Place on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a rack. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
