Chocolate Walnut Drop Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
confectioners' sugar
Directions
Using an electric mixer cream the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Beat in the chocolate until well blended. Stir in the flour and nuts.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on a well greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until the edges are crisp. Cool for one minute prior to removing to a rack to cool. Sift confectioners' sugar over tops of the cookies. Yield is about 4 dozen cookies.
