Concorde Salad

Ingredients
1 can (16 oz.) French Style green beans
1 can (16 oz.) tiny peas
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 can (4 oz.) pimientos, diced
1 medium onion, sliced in rings
1/2 to 1 cup sugar (to taste)
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt

Directions
Drain the beans and peas. Combine with the celery, green pepper, pimientos and onion in a large bowl. Stir sugar, vinegar, oil and salt together in a 2-cup measuring cup until the sugar is dissolved. Pour the mixture over the vegetables then stir gently. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Drain off the liquid 30 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
