Corn Casserole with Polish Sausage

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups carrots, sliced
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
1 can (17 oz.) cream style corn
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. green pepper, minced
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 Polish sausage, diagonally slashed

Directions
Simmer the carrots, celery, onion, marjoram, salt and water until the carrots are tender. Stir in the cream style corn. Combine and stir in the egg, green pepper, cheese and bread crumbs.

Pour the corn mixture into a casserole dish. Heat the sausage in 2 tablespoons of water to remove fat. Place on top of the corn mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 4 minutes or until evenly heated. Serves 4.
