Cuban Hash

Ingredients
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes, drain and save juice for other uses
1 large green pepper, chopped
salt
pepper
10 to 12 stuffed olives, sliced
2 tbsp. capers
Hot rice

Directions
Saute beef, onion and garlic, then pour off the excess drippings. Add the tomatoes, green peppers, salt & pepper to taste.

Cook uncovered for about 20 minutes, stirring periodically. Stir in olives and capers, then cook another 10 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice.
