Date Nut Pudding

3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup broken nut meats

Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare a 10x6x2-inch baking dish by greasing the bottom and sides with butter or margarine.

Beat eggs with the sugar until light. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix well. Stir in the dates and nut meats.

Turn the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Set the baking dish into a larger pan filled with water to one inch in depth. Bake for 60 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
