Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1-1/2 cups milk
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. melted shortening
2 egg whites, beaten to peaks

Directions
Beat egg yolks, add milk and sifted dry ingredients. Add shortening and fold in egg whites. Bake in an electric waffle maker according to the manufacturers instructions.
