Green Pea Soup

Ingredients
3 tbsp. soft butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 package (10-oz.) frozen peas
small piece of onion
2 cups water
2 tsp. salt

Directions
Break the frozen block of peas into several small sections or thaw. Put all ingredients except the water into an electric blender. Cover and blend at "mix" speed until the mixture is smooth.

Pour the pea mixture into a saucepan, add water and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir frequently while cooking. Makes 5 cups.
