Ground Beef Chop Suey

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
2 medium onions, sliced thin
1 cup diagonally sliced celery
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. sugar
1 can (16 oz.) bean sprouts, drained
1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 3/4 cup boiling water and cooled
1 tbsp. cornstarch
cooked rice (optional)

Directions
In a large skillet, saute the beef, onions and celery until the meat is browned, stirring to make the beef crumbly. Add the mushrooms, soy sauce, ginger and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes then stir in the bean sprouts.

Stir together the bouillon and cornstarch. Add to the beef mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute while stirring constantly. Serve with cooked rice. Makes 6 servings.
