Guava Jelly

Ingredients
guava fruit
water
sugar
lime juice

Directions
Wash and cut in quarters slightly under ripe guavas. Cover with water and boil, then simmer for 1/2 hour. Put juice through a jelly bag made of several layers of cheese cloth or flannel. Do not squeeze bag. Allow 1 cup sugar per 1 cup of juice. Bring to a boil and add for each cup of juice 1 tsp. of lime juice. Cook only 4 cups at one time until thick. Seal in glass jars.
