Ingredients
2-1/2 cups sugar
4 cups water
1/2 cup instant coffee
1 qt. vodka
6 tsp. vanilla (Very important: use real vanilla)

Directions
Combine sugar, water and instant coffee in a kettle. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer for one hour. Let cool. Add vodka and vanilla.

Age for at least two weeks before using. Makes 2 quarts.
