Brownies Supreme

1-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup nuts, chopped
2/3 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted

Sift together flour and salt, combine with nuts and set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate. Blend well. Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture and blend well. Pour batter into two well greased 8 inch baking pans.

Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares. Store in airtight covered container. Makes about 32 brownies.
