Buttered Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
6 medium size potatoes
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp. butter-flavor salt
dash pepper
Directions
Pare the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Place the potatoes in a large pan with enough water to cover them. Bring to boiling then boil covered for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain. Return the potatoes to low heat and shake over low heat until the potatoes are dry.
Remove the potatoes from the heat and mash. Add milk, butter flavor salt and pepper. Return the pan of potatoes to low heat while stirring constantly. Remove the potatoes from heat and whip vigorously. Serves 8.
