Carmel Pie

2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
2 tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 tbsp. ice water
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 baked pie crust

Burn 2 tbsp. sugar until brown. Add boiling water. Add sugar, egg yolks, flour, milk, vanilla and salt to the burnt sugar mixture. Cook until thick. Pour into baked crust. For top, beat egg whites with ice water until stiff. Add powdered sugar and beat. Put on pie and bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.
