Crab Meat "Maylie"

Ingredients
2 tbsp. butter
1 small green pepper, cut in thin strips
3 or 4 green onions, sliced thin
1 can (2-oz.) sliced mushrooms
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1-1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/2 cup white wine
2 cans (6-1/2 oz.) flaked crab meat
1 medium tomato, peeled and diced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions
Saute green pepper and onions in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender. Add mushrooms. Saute until heated through.

Melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat, add flour and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until smooth and thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Combine crab meat, cream sauce, sauteed vegetables and wine. Place in an oiled one quart shallow casserole dish. Top with diced tomato and grated cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
