Creamy Layer Cake
Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Pour in the milk and mix well, then add the vanilla. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Mix into the first mixture a little bit at a time. Beat after each addition until the batter is smooth. Spread the batter in two greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Place the cake pans on a wire rack to cool for 30 minutes before removing the cake. Cut each cake layer into two layers. Spread each of three layers with Creamy Filling.
