Dad's Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup safflower oil
1 cup water
1/2 cup catsup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
Directions
Brown onion in oil in a sauce pan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Use to baste grilled or broiled meats. Serve over steaks, chops, hamburgers or wieners. Makes about 2 cups.
