Holiday Fruit Cake

Ingredients
1 cup mince meat
1 cup walnut meats, coarsely chopped
1 cup mixed candied fruit, coarsely chopped
1-1/3 cups sweetened condensed milk
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions
Combine the mince meat, chopped walnuts, candied fruit, sweetened condensed milk and beaten egg. Stir in the flour and baking soda.

Grease a 9x4x3-inch loaf pan, line with waxed paper and grease again. Pour the batter evenly into the loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until the center of the cake springs back. If you are using a glass loaf pan, bake at 325 degrees.
