Mexican Corn Bread
Ingredients
1-1/2 cup yellow corn meal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2-3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
3 chopped jalapeno peppers
1 can cream style corn
1 cup grated cheese
Directions
Mix all ingredients together in the order listed, except for the cheese.
Pour half of the batter into a greased baking dish, then half of the cheese. Add the rest of the batter and cover with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 45 minutes.
