Never-fail Pie Crust

3 cups flour
1-1/4 cup shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Cut shortening into flour, add salt. Combine water, egg and vinegar. Pour into flour mixture. Blend until flour is completely moistened. Roll out on a floured board.
