Panetone Bread
Ingredients
1 lb. loaf of frozen bread
1/2 cup dark raisins
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup diced candied pineapple
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp. cream or milk
Directions
Thaw bread at room temperature until pliable. Mix fruit and knead into dough. Shape into a ball and place in a greased one quart deep casserole dish. Mix egg and cream or milk and brush on top. Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn out of casserole dish and cool completely on a rack.
