Pear Pie

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup margarine
1 unbaked pie crust
4 cups sliced pears
lemon juice

Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle half of mixture in unbaked crust. Peel and slice pears and sprinkle with lemon juice. Spread in crust. Top with remaining crumb mixture.

Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. Watch closely and cover with foil if the pie begins to brown too quickly.
