Pork and Bean Bread

Ingredients
1 cup raisins
1 cup water for raisins
2 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
1 can (16-oz.) pork and beans
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions
Bring the one cup of water to a boil then add the raisins. Set aside.

Mix the beaten eggs, oil, sugar and pork and beans together until the beans are broken. Add the flour and remaining dry ingredients to the mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Drain the raisins and add to the batter, mixing in well.

Pour the batter into 3 well greased and floured loaf pans.

Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
