Pumpkin Nut Bread

Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup softened butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.

Combine the pumpkin, sugar, milk and eggs. Add the dry ingredients and the butter. Mix well. Stir in the nuts. Spread into a well greased 9x5x3 loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
