Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
1 unbaked pastry shell, chilled
6 slices bacon
1-1/2 cups natural Swiss cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1-1/2 cups cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Directions
Do not pierce pie shell before filling.

Cut bacon into small pieces and cook slowly until brown and crisp. Drain well on a paper towel. Spread bacon and cheese evenly over bottom of pie shell.

Beat eggs and add cream and seasonings, then slowly pour into pie shell.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow pie to stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm, makes 6 servings.
