Reception Salad
Ingredients
1 can (8-3/4 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 package (3 oz.) lemon flavor gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 pimiento, chopped fine
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
dash of salt
Directions
Drain pineapple and reserve syrup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Measure syrup and add water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin mixture. Blend cheese, pineapple, celery, pimiento and nuts. Add to gelatin with salt. Fold in whipped cream. Turn into a 1 quart mold. Chill.
