Rum Raisin Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup raisins or currants
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. rum extract
Directions
Combine raisins and water in a medium sized saucepan. Bring to boiling, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Combine sugar and cornstarch and stir into mixture. Stir and cook until clear, about 5 minutes. Stir in extract then refrigerate for several hours. Good served over soft frozen yogurt.
