Sour Cream Apple Pie
2 tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg, unbeaten 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 cups sliced apples
Crumb Topping
1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 cup butter
Sift flour, salt and sugar together. Add egg, sour cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat to a smooth batter. Stir in apples. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add topping and bake for 10 minutes longer.
