Strawberry Ice
4-1/2 pints fresh strawberries, washed and hulled 2 cups sugar 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Puree strawberries in an electric blender at low speed. Strain to remove seeds if desired. Add sugar and lemon juice then mix well. Pour into a freezer tray or baking pan and freeze until soft. Spoon into a large bowl and whip with an electric mixer. Cover and freeze until firm. Makes 2 quarts.
