Tomato Soup Cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup raisins
1 can (10-1/2 oz.) tomato soup
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1-1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Mix all of the cake ingredients together until smooth. Pour the batter into a 10-inch square baking pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until the cake tests done.

Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 cup confectioner's sugar

Directions
Mix the icing ingredients together until well blended and spread over the cake.
