Vanilla Wafer Cake

Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
12 oz. box vanilla wafers
1/2 cup milk
7 oz. pkg. flaked coconut
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions
Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and continue beating until the mixture smooth and fluffy.

Crush the vanilla wafers fine with a rolling pin. Add the crumbs to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the coconut and pecans. Turn the mixture into a greased and floured tube pan.

Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. This cake needs no frosting.
