Mocha Fudge Cake
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup milk
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Topping
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups strong, hot coffee
Directions
Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl. Add the milk, molasses, melted butter and vanilla. Stir lightly, the mixture will be thick.
Spread the batter in a two quart casserole dish. Mix the topping (you can use the same bowl that you used before) and sprinkle over the batter. Pour hot coffee over all without stirring.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
