Peanut Butter Fudge
Ingredients
2 cups sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 tbsp. salt
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Directions
Combine sugar, syrup, salt, evaporated milk and water in a deep sauce pan. Cook until the mixture reaches soft ball stage. Remove from heat, add the peanut butter and the optional chopped peanuts. When cool, add the vanilla and beat well.
Spread the mixture into a buttered pan and allow to set. Cut into pieces as desired.
