Pralines
Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 cups pecans
Directions
Stir the sugar, water and butter together over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add the pecans. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly until the mixture forms a hard ball in cold water. Remove from heat and drop by tablespoonfuls onto a marble slab or heavy waxed paper, making patties of desired size.
