This is a guide to the different types of recipes that are on this web site along with a brief description of what you will find in each of these sections.

Breakfast

  • Breakfast Foods - Foods that are especially good for breakfast. Includes cereals and egg dishes.

Lunch & Dinner

  • Sandwiches - Great sandwich combinations for your lunch.
  • Beef - A good selection of recipes that have beef as the main ingredient.
  • Chicken, Turkey - Various ways to prepare chicken, turkey or other poultry.
  • Fish, Seafood - Dishes that are based on various types of fish or seafood.
  • Ham, Pork - A variety of dishes that are based on ham or pork.
  • Other Dinner Ideas - Includes pastas and other dishes that are good for dinner.

Side Dishes

  • Casseroles - A type of side dish that may combine meats and vegetables. Usually baked in a casserole dish. Can be a one-dish meal.
  • Fruit Salads - Salads that are primarily comprised of fruits. You will find Jell-O based salads as well.
  • Green Salads - Salads that are mostly based on lettuces, cabbages, or other green leafy vegetables. This section also includes salads that are made from pastas or other main ingredients.
  • Salad Dressings - Dressings for both fruit salads and green salads. Also good served with baked potatoes or other vegetables.
  • Soups - A good selection of soups for both lunch and dinner.
  • Vegetables - Different ways to prepare vegetables of all types.

Breads

  • Breads - These are mostly breads baked in the form of a loaf that you can slice for sandwiches, etc.
  • Biscuits - A light and small baked type of bread. Great served with butter and honey or jam.
  • Muffins - A small type of bread usually baked in a "muffin" tin. Good served warm with butter.
  • Pancakes, Waffles - A small, generally flat, light form of a bread that are usually cooked in a frying pan or an electric waffle maker.
  • Rolls - A small, raised bread that is good served with butter with your dinner or with a salad.
  • Sweet Breads - These are dessert type breads such as coffee cakes and doughnuts.

Desserts

  • Cakes - All types of cakes except chocolate cakes as they have their own section.
  • Chocolate Cakes - Cakes that feature chocolate.
  • Frosting, Icings - Various types of frostings, icings and toppings for cakes and other dessert items.
  • Cookies - A good selection of cookies to satisfy your need for a small sweet treat.
  • Pies - Various pies, mostly fruit based.
  • Pie Crusts - A few types of pastry shells for pies.
  • Candy - A variety of fudges and other candies.
  • Other Desserts - Desserts that don't fit into the other sections. Includes ice cream.

Snacks Etc.
