Spanish Loaf
Ingredients
1 lb. ham, ground
1 lb. beef, ground
1 lb. veal, ground
2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 strips bacon
1 egg, beaten
1 cup bread crumbs
3 tbsp. bell pepper, finely chopped
2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
Directions
Mix the meats, egg, onion, green peppers, mustard, pepper, salt and bread crumbs. Add the milk and shape the mixture into a loaf. Place the loaf in a greased baking pan. Spread mustard on each strip of bacon and lay the bacon strips over the top of the loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes. Serves 8.
