Strawberry Glace Pie
Ingredients
1 quart fresh strawberries, wash and hull
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup water
red food coloring
1 cup whipping cream, whipped and sweetened
Directions
Bake and cool one pie crust.
Cut up 1 cup of berries. Mix sugar, cornstarch and water in a 2 quart pan. Add cut up berries. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear. Stir in a few drops of red food coloring. Cool. Stir in remaining berries, saving 1/4 cup for garnish. Pour into pie shell.
Chill for 3 hours then top with whipped cream and berries.
