Texas Pecan Pie
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups broken pecan meats
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Directions
Beat together sugar, syrup and eggs. Melt butter and beat into sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla. Sprinkle nuts in pie shell and pour over filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
