Vinegar Egg Pastry Dough

Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 cup butter or shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 large egg
1 tsp. vinegar

Directions
Combine dry ingredients. Beat egg, add water and vinegar then add to dry ingredients. Knead on a lightly floured board for 20 strokes. Roll out as usual.
