The “beef” section is completely updated to the new version of the pages. I’ve done one page in the “chicken, turkey” section but have to call it quits for today. It’s getting late.
I have slipped in a few “related” links in some of the recently completed pages as they didn’t take too much time to research and I will continue to do that when time permits. There are still pages that I will have to go back to and add that information, but it will have to wait for now. I have noticed that several visitors are using them so I can only assume that they are useful. That’s a good thing. ![]()

Just a progress report on the redesign of Shoebox Recipes.
The redesign is moving along smoothly although it is time consuming. My goal is to do at least six pages per day and more when possible. To speed up the progress I will have to delay adding links to “You might also like:” areas as I’m spending quite a bit of extra time researching those recipes. They will be added, but at a later date. For the record (and as a note to myself) the last page that has these links added is Chopped Beef Patties Deluxe.
At this time I’m in the midst of the “Beef” section. If you look at the list of categories on the very left side of any page, all of the categories that are listed above “Beef” have been completed. I’m simply moving down that list.
As for new recipes, watch this blog. I’ve still got a great many to add to the site and I just might add them at any time. Notice of new additions will appear here. Always.

Yes, this desert is dusty but that isn’t the dust I’m speaking of. You may or may have not noticed that Shoebox Recipes is getting a new look. It’s also going the way of being another one of those CSS sites (that’s a good thing by the way).
I hope you like the change. It will be several months before all pages can be converted but never fear - every single page is still in existence and none have been harmed in the process.
