And so is my craving for soup!
I don’t know about you, but when the seasons change so does my desire for certain foods. Fall is the time of year that I begin to crave a hot bowl of soup, with or without a sandwich to go with it. As a result of this craving and a co-worker’s request, I’ve just added a recipe for Corn Chowder. You will find it under Side Dishes, Soups.
I’ll be cooking this latest recipe this weekend: Kung Pao Chicken
When I mentioned it to my significant other, his face lit up and he said “that’s my favorite!” so I know this will be a hit around here. He simply loves spicy food and so do I when my stomach can handle it. I’ll be serving it with steamed white rice unless I get really industrious and make some fried rice to go with it.
The latest addition to the site is a recipe for Pineapple Mango Salsa. This salsa is great used as a dip or as a companion to various foods such as crab cakes. If you like you could spice it up a bit (or a whole lot) by adding cayenne or hot chili peppers.
After taking a few days of R&R, I’m back to adding new recipes to the site. The latest addition is Salisbury Steak and I think you will find it super easy to make. Check it out.
Spicing it up just a bit with todays latest recipe. Newly added is a recipe for Chili Burgers that I am certain you will enjoy. That is if your tastes in food run to the spicy side. Otherwise, try one of the many other recipes. I am sure that you will find one or more to make.
When you have the opportunity, you’ve got to try Scalloped Corn Cornbread. I’m sure it will be a favorite with your family too.
If you are as fond of potato salad as I am, you’re sure to love Sour Cream Potato Salad. Serve it with sandwiches or as part of a buffet. It’s also great to take to a picnic or other gathering.
Here is a delightful little cookie that is easy to make: Chocolate Almond Snowdrops Â
They also store well in a tightly covered container. They are great to have with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
Did you know that soup can make a meal? Of course you did. Here’s a Cream of Potato Soup recipe that is quick and easy to make.
Get back to basics with this long time favorite food staple: White Bread
I’ve been told by a very dear friend that there are conditions where a person just cannot eat the whole grain breads and is advised to eat only white bread. This is a very good white bread recipe that is a delight for anyone of any age.
